Overview

Spray foam removal from your loft in Milton Keynes

We provide spray foam removal for homes and businesses in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. Our team covers the MK1 postcode area and nearby places such as Fenny Stratford, Simpson, Little Woolstone, Milton Keynes Village, Broughton and Willen, and you can reach us on 0800 075 2452.

Spray foam was sold widely as a quick fix for roofs and insulation, but it can trap moisture against rafters and battens and hides the condition of the roof from surveyors. Many mortgage lenders and valuers now treat it as a problem when a house is sold or remortgaged.

We remove the foam from the underside of the roof covering and timbers, bag and take away the waste, and leave the roof space clear so the timbers can be inspected. If the roof needs work once it is exposed, we can quote for that too.

  3. Step 3

    Remove

Foam is cut and scraped from the timbers and tiles, and bagged as we go.

FAQs

Spray foam removal FAQs for Milton Keynes

Do you cover Milton Keynes for spray foam removal?

Yes. Our team covers Milton Keynes and the surrounding Buckinghamshire area, including Fenny Stratford, Simpson, Little Woolstone, Milton Keynes Village, Broughton and Willen. Call 0800 075 2452 to arrange a visit and a written quote.

Why do mortgage lenders object to spray foam?

Lenders and surveyors cannot inspect roof timbers through the foam, and there is a risk of trapped moisture causing timber decay. Many now ask for it to be removed before they will lend.

Is spray foam removal messy?

Removal creates debris, so the loft hatch and access route are protected and the waste is bagged and taken away.

Will my roof need replacing after the foam comes off?

Not necessarily. Once the timbers and tiles are visible, we assess them and tell you honestly whether repairs, a new membrane or a re-roof is needed.

How long does removal take?

Most loft roofs take between one and three days, depending on the area covered and whether the foam is open or closed cell.
