Overview

Clay and concrete tiled roofs

Tiles are the most common roof covering in Northamptonshire for good reason. They are durable, affordable and come in profiles that suit everything from red-brick semis to new builds. We fit plain tiles, interlocking tiles and pantiles in clay or concrete.

If only part of the roof needs renewing, we source tiles that match the colour and profile already there, so an extended or part-renewed roof does not look patched.

How It Works

How our tiled roof service works

Step 1

Step 2

The tile, fixings, scaffold and timescale are confirmed in writing.
Step 3

Pricing

What affects tiled roof prices?

Every roof is different, so every quote is written for your property. These are the factors that move the price most.

Tile type

Clay costs more than concrete, and plain tiles need far more tiles per square metre.

Roof complexity

Valleys, dormers and hips take more cutting and detailing than a simple slope.

Size and pitch

The area to cover and the angle of the roof drive material and labour.

Scaffold and access

The height of the house and the space around it shape the scaffold cost.

FAQs

Tiled roof FAQs

Clay or concrete tiles: which is better?

Clay tiles hold their colour for longer and suit period homes. Concrete tiles cost less and are quicker to lay. Both last for decades when fixed correctly, and we can show you samples of each.
